The ceremony of ISO Cup 2008 prize awarding took place on 28/09/2008 at the National Convention Center. This is the fourth time Ministry of Science and Technology assesses, selects and awards excellent firms and organizations in application of ISO system in production, business activities, contributing to the general economic development of Vietnam.  Expressing at the ceremony, deputy minister of Science and Technology, Mr. Nguyen Quan warmly congratulates awarded firms, affirms the strong growth and development of Vietnamese firms in successful application of the modern management instruments in production. Deputy minister Nguyen Quan expressed his expectation that more firms will continuously respond to the Vietnam Quality Decade movement in the future. Besides the solutions for construction of modern quality systems, all firms should have strong solution in technology change, in building plans for development and exploration of their intellectual property, at the same time carry out better and better their obligation to contribute to the society and community. The ISO Golden Cup prize awarding ceremony is organized annually, it is a professional recognition of managers, top ranking experts in the field of domestic technical standards and quality. The succeeded organizations are firms successfully and effectively conducting business activities on the basis of annual growth, executing strictly State’s regulations about quality management, labor force using in term of income growth and other criteria.
